Hi, I’m Renee!
I’m a vocal and piano coach with over two decades of experience, and I’m passionate about helping people find freedom and confidence in their music.
My journey started with a degree in voice from Indiana Wesleyan University, where I was honored as a NATS winner. I later continued my studies in vocal pedagogy at Shenandoah Conservatory, diving deeper into vocal technique and the art of teaching.
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of performing in musical theatre productions like Oklahoma and HMS Pinafore, leading worship at Mountainview Community Church, and recording as a featured soloist on several Sovereign Grace albums. Music has taken me on so many adventures — and I love sharing that joy with others.
Music Educator & Mentor
Teaching is truly where my heart is. I’ve taught private lessons, led group classes and workshops, directed choirs, and even started a community caroling group! I believe music is for everyone, and I love creating a supportive space where students of all ages can grow.
I’m also a member of the National Music Teacher Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing, which help me stay connected and keep growing as a teacher.
Today, I live in Urbana, Maryland with my husband and our three boys. Whether online or in the studio, I’m here to help the next generation of musicians discover their voice, build their skills, and experience the joy and transformation music can bring.
